Black and White

So two days we had a snow day, and today it was 55 degrees. Oh North Carolina, you humor me so much! Well I will admit that I love a good snow day, I am also thrilled to welcome spring weather. This weather can be difficult to dress for and I am always on the lookout for good transition pieces.

I absolutely love crop tops. I certainly don’t have #washboardabs but I do love to wear them. They are fun and sassy! Crop tops are great wardrobe staples, and perfect for a night on the town or a day at the park.

I nabbed this skirt at Madewell over Christmas. My mom and I both loved it, because it is not your standard pencil skirt. The criss cross makes it sexy, yet the length is still classy.

I am always on the lookout for statement earrings. A little color pop can make an outfit standout.

My lip shade is my new obsession. I blended three together (my favorite little tip). The three I used were: Berry from Loreal, Berry Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick and Berry Matte by Urban Decay. They make a great shade of deep red/pink. I favor deep reds and pinks on my lips.

Also, I have been trying to do more with my hair. Nine times out of ten my hair is straight down, with the occasional messy bun or ponytail. I have had a wand for three years and never used it, but I am finally starting to wave my hair. I love that it gives my hair more volume, and the waves make me feel super beachy.

Did y’all have a good Tuesday?!
