Winter Staple: Stadium Coat

Happy New Year!

I hope you had a wonderful time ringing in 2017. I promised this blog post two days ago...and I am two days late. Sometimes with life, you just have to roll with the punches of flight delays, fevers, and so on. I am back in North Carolina after a wonderful holiday visit with family and friends. I will be posting my New Year's Resolutions soon, and I promise to be keeping them.

Today's post is all about my new obsession, my stadium coat! I got it as a gift for Christmas, and I have been wearing it nonstop.

If you live in a place where it hits below 40 degrees in the winter, a coat is an essential! I got a parka from J. Crew last season, so I knew this would be a good coat.

This coat is easy to pair with anything! I got grey because I am obsessed with neutrals, but it comes in so many colors.

I'm wearing my favorite leather leggings (another wardrobe staple) and I topped the look off with my favorite Rebecca Minkoff purse.

The coat is pricey, but definitely a wise investment! I can't wait to blog more in 2017 and expand The Z List. I have exciting plans and I can't wait for y'all to join me on the adventure.

My Favorites: Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale

Happy post Christmas!

Now that the holidays have come and gone, the returns seem to be piling up. To be honest, I hate the mall during this time. It is always so crowded, so often shopping from my couch is much more appealing. Nordstrom makes that so easy!

Also, the boots I linked in my Instagram can be found here

1) BP Grey Poncho 2) Free People Dress     3) Velvet Dress  4) Topshop Pink Biker Jacket

5) Sam Edelman Slouch Boots  6) Burberry Parka

Here are some of my favorites from the Nordstrom half yearly sale. While I have ENDLESS favorites, I narrowed it down to my six favorites. I'd love to hear what you like! The sale runs until January 2nd, and shipping is free (yipee!).

Our 2016 Christmas Card

Merry Christmas my friends!

This year has been filled with many ups and downs. Though it seems like most of us have been lying in the valley, I am hoping that 2017 is filled with many mountaintops.

Christmas is a special time to spend with family and rejoice in the birth of a little babe who transformed the world. Presence is the greatest present we can give. I am sharing our 2016 Holiday/New Year card, taken by the amazing Natalie Schram. If you're in NC or the Southeast, I HIGHLY recommend her. She makes taking pictures fun and effortless.

We're closing out Christmas with our beloved family, a fire, and some wine. I hope you have had a day filled with peace. For those who find the holidays excruciating, know that I think of you and pray that you will see glimpses of love and joy.

All my love,

Hi loves,

I hope you had the most marvelous Thanksgiving. I am so thankful for each of my faithful readers! Y'all bring me so much happiness and joy!

I have the exciting opportunity to talk to you about a new favorite of mine: Nip+Fab skin care products! My mom always told me to take good care of my skin. I have really dry and sensitive skin, so it is often hard to find products that are complimentary.

I also use the Glycolic Fix Night Pads. I use them on my face each and every night. It takes away any dirt that my skin accumulated from the day. I use the Dragon Plumping Serum every morning. It gives my skin a nice and clean look, and also serves as a great moisturizer! The Serum totally helps my uber dry skin.

Like I said earlier, the Dragon Mask is my absolute favorite Nip+Fab product (though it is hard to pick a favorite!). I use it twice a week. I put it on right before I go to bed, and leave it on all night.

When I wake up, my skin feels fresh and rejuvenated.

Nip+Fab can be found at Ulta, Target, ASOS, and other places. Just google it and you will find it!

It is affordable and high quality, something that is so hard to find these days.

Hope y'all try these products!

Life Update Round Two + LOLA Products!

I know it has been radio silence over here. Life has been hectic and crazy, and surprisingly it is harder to run a blog as a young professional than as a student. Even when life was filled with papers and exams, I still found time to blog. Coming back to this blog was quite challenging for me. Don't get me wrong, I love to write and I love my readers! Finding time to actually put together good content was the tricky part.

Now that I have properly adjusted to working life, I am so happy to be back to my blogging days! I plan on blogging Monday's, Wednesdays, and Friday's...with some Tuesday's mixed in.

I have had the amazing opportunity to partner with some killer brands, including the one I am featuring today. Finding good, quality feminine products has always been an endeavor. I suffer from horrible periods, and it is impossible to find good tampons (Sorry if that is TMI!)

I was asked to partner with LOLA and I said immediately said yes! First, I love that their products are organic, and allergen free. They are also the perfect size to put in your purse/bag. I also love that they deliver--HELLO CONVENIENCE! Most importantly, I love what LOLA stands for. It is a company that believes in the empowerment of women. The women who work for LOLA are 100% committed to women. They are a company created for and run by women--because hey, girls run the world!

Ps: The adorable cosmetic bag is by Stephanie Johnson. I love her products! You can find them here.
